·               Perform computer security related audits and reviews for the Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRI) mission, and Certification and Accreditation (CA) program visits to major U.S. Commands, military base Network Enterprise Centers (NEC), cleared Contractor facilities, defense universities, and other DoD assets both in CONUS and OCONUS.

Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (RAID) Tower Systems Technician

·               Attended and completed a 200 hour U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) training course for installing, operating, and repairing 107 ft. surveillance towers, information systems and intelligence payloads, and the accompanying computer and support systems for the Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (RAID) Tower Systems program at Redstone Arsenal, Hunstville, AL. The RAID program leveraged many Windows and Linux technologies, as well as liquid-cooled thermal FLIR camera systems, line-of-sight microwave wireless networking, fiber optic networking, various power systems and generators, and tower mechanisms. The program relied heavily on teamwork to complete the installation and maintenance of the systems.

·               The follow-on job was designed to be deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan for a year or more.

The position I held for Celerity presented itself to me early on in the training, and I left the program after completion of the training course in favor of an offer with Celerity IT, LLC in order to better serve my family and career.

·               Held various responsibilities in this role, everything from systems administration on Microsoft Windows servers and workstations, system imaging, and shipping new workstations and servers to remote sites, performing administration and programming of network tracking software (Castle Rock’s SNMPc and Solarwinds Orion Software packages), to the configuration and deployment of Cisco, Nortel, SafeNet and Juniper networking devices.

·               Performed administration of custom security software from Boeing’s Virtual Security Operations Console (VSOC), programming the update software for VSOC, maintaining immense databases of imagery for VSOC, configuration, installation and maintenance of Software House and Hirsch Security hardware Systems and servers running C*Cure and Velocity software, and integrating those databases into VSOC.
